SRDG is a student-led organisation whose primary focus is the development of discursive and analytical skills within the humanities, particularly through practical and collaborative applications.
We provide the platform from which students can engage in critical discussion, debate, and the exchange of ideas across multiple disciplines, ranging from history and literature to philosophy and politics. Through student-led discussions and project-based initiatives, we aim to help students develop the skills necessary to evaluate different perspectives and refine their arguments.
We draw our members from elite secondary-school academic circles, building a strong community of students committed to thoughtful inquiry and high-level discourse.
Our ultimate goal is to demonstrate the continued relevance of the humanities in the contemporary world, which is increasingly dominated by analytics and technological progress, while our emphasis remains firmly within the realm of human expression: what does it mean to be human?
